Shawna Madigan
I was a full time student enrolled in the SIAST Pre Employment Welding program through the Southeast Regional College, Weyburn Campus. I graduated in May 2009 at the top of my class. I am currently employed as a welders helper with Enbridge Pipelines doing pipeline maintenance in southeast Saskatchewan and southwest Manitoba. The pre-employment welding program was a positive factor in helping me to obtain employment as a welding apprentice through the eight months of quality training and hands on practise that I received while a welding student.
