Pheasant Rump Training Centre officially opens
Pheasant Rump First Nation, SK – Wednesday, December 14th marked the official Grand Opening of the Pheasant Rump Nakota First Nation Training Centre, where Southeast Regional College has been delivering Adult Basic Education Levels 3 and 4 programs since September.
College staff, students, and special guests attended the event, which included an Elder blessing as well as Chief Terrance McArthur’s message about the importance of education and the valuable partnership between Pheasant Rump and the College. The highlight was the presentation of a sign that will hang at the Centre, which features a First Nations design by Linea McArthur, a sister of two of the Adult Basic Education Students.
