Southeast Regional College Launches Business Training Program

The Southeast Regional College is excited to announce the launch of its Business Training Program!

This program includes various types of one and two day business training workshops delivered in conjunction with Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).

These workshops are for aspiring, new or current supervisors or mid level managers. Courses are flexible and students take only the courses that meet their learning needs. Examples of the courses include: Leaders as coaches, Motivating Employees, Team Building, Supervisory Skills and many more. Students receive an Applied Management Certificate of Achievement after completing 180 hours of in class learning.

“The SAIT courses are very practical, skill-orientated and interactive in nature and build core business, supervisory and management skills important to managing in today’s environment” says Ed Zychkowski, Lead Consultant for the Southeast Regional College. “Courses are taught by locally trained, qualified facilitators.”

As a “Kick Off” to the Business Training Program, Southeast Regional College is hosting a Leadership Skills workshop on September 30th and October 1st at Kenosee Lake. The 2 day event includes an introduction to the SAIT courses, Leadership Skills workshop as well as additional time to socialize and network.
