Fueling the Future Scholarship Initiative

Southeast College is very pleased to announce our new scholarship initiative: Fueling the Future. This program allows our donors to choose an area of focus that is right for them, and sets up a foundation for connections with Southeast College students who could one day become potential employees.

You gain access to students who are training for careers that impact the future of your organization
This allows you to recruit them to your organization and sustain your labour force needs.

Your sponsorship amount is automatically doubled and every dollar you contribute goes into students’ pockets as scholarships.
You are valued by the students, the College, and the Government of Saskatchewan for your financial contribution.  And you get a tax receipt if you wish.

Our communities grow and prosper through industry and education sponsorships.
Our goal is to provide local post-secondary training that meets the needs of the local economy, which benefits everyone in southeast Saskatchewan.

How industry-education sponsorship works

  1. Select a program to sponsor from our list of 2015-16 full-time certificate programs:
Program & Location Proud Sponsor:
Electrician (Esteven and/or Moosomin)

Heavy Equipment Truck and
Transport Technician

Industrial Mechanic (Estevan)
Power Engineering (Estevan and/or Weyburn)

2. Select a sponsorship level:

$1,000 Propane: Invitation to "Career Connection" event with students; Industry Education Awards Dinner tickets; logo on College web site; media opportunities.

$3,000 Diesel: All the benefits of the Propane level, plus: invitation to student orientation BBQ; Classroom/Lab sign.

$5,000 High Octane: All the benefits of the Diesel level, plus: ad in Tradewinds, ad in the Energy Training Calendar; ad in Student Handbook; opportunity to contribute promotional items for student welcome; Table of 8 at Industry Education Awards Dinner.

3. Feel confident in knowing that 100% of your sponsorship gets matched by the Government of Saskatchewan AND goes into the students’ pockets while the College absorbs all administrative costs of the activities associated with the sponsorship.
