They are offered together, but each course is distinct with a focus on different aspects of safety and care. Please note there is a price difference between the two courses.

Stay Safe! Course
This course is perfect for children ages 9 and older or those who have completed Grade 3. It covers essential safety skills for home and community settings, such as setting safety rules, handling unexpected situations, and learning basic first aid. This program runs for 5 to 6 hours, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a lunch break in between. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete student paperwork and don’t forget to pack a lunch and bring a water bottle. It’s a great way to equip your child with the confidence to stay safe on their own.

Babysitting Training Course
For youth between the ages of 11 and 15, the Babysitting Training course is designed to teach vital skills for responsible babysitting. Participants will learn about safety, feeding, diapering, dressing, and playing with children, as well as first aid and the business aspects of babysitting. This course provides everything your child needs to market themselves as a skilled and dependable babysitter.
