2026 Swing for Scholarships Save the Date
March 11, 2026Weyburn – Save the date! Planning for the 2026 Swing for Scholarships golf tournament is underway, with this year’s fundraiser scheduled for September 18th at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club in Estevan.
In combination with matching funds through the Ministry of Advanced Education’s Saskatchewan Innovation and Opportunity Scholarship program, the event has generated over $109,000 for student scholarships in the last five years.
“Proceeds from this event have proven invaluable to our students since the tournament’s inception, and we are extremely grateful for the community support we have received over the years that has allowed Swing for Scholarships to remain viable,” said College President and CEO Jody Holzmiller.
The first Swing for Scholarships tournament was held in 1999. Since inception, the tournament has been held at different courses throughout the college region with a variety of themes that make for a day filled with fun, golf, camaraderie and networking. The City of Estevan team has carded the lowest score in each of the last three events.
