New Employment Opportunities:

Southeast College is currently recruiting to a contract faculty position within their health programming division. This position is based out of Weyburn.

Working from the new and state-of-the art Weyburn Campus the ideal candidate will bring these qualifications:
– Bachelors Degree in Nursing or a related field is required; Masters Degree preferred
– Must be eligible with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association
– Minimum of two years recent clinical/teaching experience
– Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
– Ability to apply the theory, practices and principles of the science of nursing and adult education
– Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling and teaching interaction skills
– Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources
– Overnight travel may be required

– Manage and execute program administration
– Teach, coach and supervise nursing students in classroom, simulation lab and clinical settings
– Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
– Participate in the development, maintenance and revision of curriculum
– Monitor and evaluate curriculum implementation at the Program site
– Participate in program, campus, SIAST, industry and professional or other stakeholder activities

End Date: November 19, 2021

Salary Range:
As per the negotiated SGEU Instructor grid, commensurate with education and experience
