Program Overview

Business encompasses many disciplines. The Business Diploma program prepares you for a wide variety of entry-level positions. The program provides a solid foundation of the major business concepts and principles for careers in accounting, marketing, management, human resources, insurance, finance and entrepreneurship.

Your Career

Graduates from the Business Diploma program may find employment in entry-level positions in banking, retail, human resources, insurance, marketing and more. Entry-level positions include management trainees, administrative assistants, financial officers and sales representatives.

Admission Requirements

  • Grade 12 or successful completion of at least 15 credit units from this Business certificate program or the Business diploma (Year 1) program.
  • English Language Requirement
  • Computer experience using a Windows application is recommended

Indigenous Equity Seats

Starting in the 2025-2026 academic year intake, designated seats will be available in many of the College’s full-time programs for students of Canadian Indigenous ancestry. This initiative aims to support Indigenous students in their educational pursuits and ensure they have the opportunity to succeed in their chosen fields. Applicants in designated groups need to meet program admission requirements. Apply early for your best opportunity to qualify for an equity seat, as they are limited in number. The College will release any unfilled seats starting on April 30th .
