First Aid/CPR/AED (St. John Ambulance)
This standard First Aid & CPR is a two day course that covers artificial resuscitation, choking, bleeding, shock, wounds and dressings, injuries, burns, fractures, etc. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training is included. Receive a certificate from St. John Ambulance. Course content set by Occupational Health and Safety. Topics include emergency scene management, choking, shock and unconsciousness, severe bleeding, one and two rescuer CPR for an adult casualty, and automatic external defibrillation (AED) training.
The First Aid & CPR ‘C’ Infant & Child training can be taken at the same time as the standard ‘A’ course. Please register for CPR Level C if you need this level of training.
BLS (Basic Life Support formerly known as HCP) is also available upon request. Please call Registration at 1-866-999-7372 for more information or to register for BLS.
**Must be a minimum 14 yrs old**
St John Ambulance certificates that expire between March 19, 2020 and September 23, 2020 will be eligible to take the One Day Recertification course in addition to extending their certification over this period.
