Industrial Mechanic – Millwright
This 18-week program gives you a working knowledge of machinery common to most industries and an introduction to preventative maintenance procedures. This program covers all level 1 subjects and is recognized by the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certificaton Commission (SATCC). Work experience of 2 weeks is part of the program.
Graduates may find employment in commercial or industrial operations that use machinery. These include wood, cereal, meat processing and power generating plants, hard rock and potash mines, mills and refineries.
- grade 12 with the following mathematics: Foundations of Math 20 OR Workplace and Apprenticeship Math 20 OR Pre-Calculus 20
- English language requirement
Applicants who do not possess the academic qualifications for a program may be admitted if evidence of probable success can be established through a special admission assessment. Interested individuals should still apply. The Southeast College registrar will be in contact with applicants that fall into this category.
Course includes one week of safety training, exact safety courses to be determined

Materials: $950 (subject to change without notice)
Applications will be accepted starting February 1st, 2018. Students that apply before June 30, 2018 may be eligible for a Southeast College Entrance Award.
