Maintenance Management Professional Certification Program

Offered in conjunction with PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada, this program is for those who are maintenance practitioners, have maintenance responsibilities, or have a maintenance or engineering background. It is geared for those within the maintenance field who aspire to be in management or those who are in management and want formal training.

Graduates of the program will have the knowledge to improve business processes, operational productivity, cost reductions, environmental compliance, safety, and economic life of assets.

The Maintenance Management Professional Certification Program consists of eight modules. It is recommended that Module 1 be studied first, and Module 8 can only be taken after the completion of the first 7 modules. Otherwise, the modules can be undertaken individually and in any order.

Successful completion of the eight MMP modules qualifies participants for PEMAC’s Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) certification. Participants can gather their transcripts and apply to PEMAC for their certification, and rights to use MMP after their name. When the MMP certification expires the renewal requirements include signing off on the PEMAC Code of Ethics, demonstrating a minimum standard of continuing professional development (CPD), and payment of recertification fees. Certification fees include PEMAC membership as well as other benefits.
