MLDP – Community and Land Use Planning
The MLDP program will be closed to new registrations effective May 1st.
Participants who register on or before this date will have until May 31st to complete their course requirements.
After May 1st, the program will be closed until further notice. We appreciate your understanding as we transition this offering and will share updates should the program become available again in the future.
This online module for community and land use planning will cover a variety of topics including:
- Roles and responsibilities of council, administration and the public
- Creation , adoption and amendment process for Official Community Plans and Zoning Bylaws
- Subdivision process
- Servicing agreements
- Development permit process
- Development appeal board process
- Enforcing bylaws
- Building permit process as well as regional planning
