Workshop Overview

Saskatchewan is poised to play a leading role in Canada’s emerging Small Modular Reactor (SMR) sector. As SaskPower advances its SMR deployment program, new opportunities are emerging across services, manufacturing, construction, engineering, operations, maintenance, and the broader nuclear supply chain.

This two‑day intensive workshop is designed for Saskatchewan businesses, suppliers, industry partners, and innovators who want to understand how to participate in — and compete within — the nuclear supply chain. Through technical briefings, practical readiness sessions, and interactive discussion, participants will gain clarity on requirements, timelines, market opportunities, and pathways to becoming “nuclear‑ready.”
