Trades Kids Camp
What are your kids going to be doing this summer? The Southeast College is inviting our local youngsters and teens (grades 1 – 12) to the Trades for Kids summer session. The program runs on July 22nd and July 23rd with 3 differents groups of different ages.
You are invited to register your child/children in the weeks and location that best suits your needs. To register please choose the corresponding class below for the day and age group you wish to register and add the course to your basket.

Weyburn Campus Camps
July 22nd and July 23rd 2026 ( Same time both days)
Grades 10-12 – Tool Carrier
8:30 AM – 11:30AM
Grades 10-12
-all the same as younger grades, with modified delivery suited for age group
-lessons on employment skills
– $15.00 each project and snacks included
Max 12 Campers
Grades 7 -9 – Squirrel Picnic Table
12:00 PM – 2:15 PM
-all the same as younger grades, with modified delivery suited for age group
-use of advanced PPE: fall protection harness and exoskeleton demonstration
-lesson discussing Sask youth apprenticeship program
– $15.00 project and snacks included
Max 10 Campers
Grades 1-6 – Book House
2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
-understanding roles of different trades in construction
-learning about PPE, trying on different types, and using PPE during practical exercise’s
-introduction to what is scaffolding and ladders, ladder safety, and using a small scaffold pre-build for students
$15.00 project and snacks included
