Water Treatment and Distribution – Class 1
Class 1 Water Treatment and Distribution
This program is designed for all Water Plant and/or Distribution System Operators not currently certified. The course includes four days of instruction, Class 1 Manual, printed course materials and quizzes, and the course exams (exams written on day 5). The course prepares all participants to write the two exams in Saskatchewan (and Manitoba).
If you are from Manitoba, you will have to write the Manitoba exams, which will not be provided at this course. Head to Environment and Climate Change | Province of Manitoba (gov.mb.ca) to book an exam. Manitoba students will be charged a tuition fee of $1,895 as exams will not be included.

PREREQUISITES
Basic understanding of water treatment and water distribution system principals, practices and terminology as well as basic mathematic skills.
NOTE: Grade 12/GED 12 is required for Class 1 certification applications to the Operator Certification Board of Saskatchewan (www.saskocb.ca). Registrants in our courses without Grade 12/GED 12 are advised to be working towards this course corequisite.
