“Once again our staff and students have donated a huge amount of food for our local food banks,” stated Sheena Onrait, Manager of Marketing and Communications for Southeast College. “We couldn’t be more proud of our students, staff and community members for supporting this worthwhile cause.”

Collection bins were placed in main campus locations including Weyburn, Estevan and Moosomin. Donations were collected starting December 1st and were completed today with our final weigh in and results. Totals from each location are as follows:

Weyburn 307 pounds
Estevan 475 pounds
Moosomin 194 pounds

“We value the communities that we are a part of and this is just one small way we can give back to them,” said Dion McGrath, President and CEO of Southeast College. “We are overwhelmed with the amount of food that our staff and students brought in.  We also received donations from other businesses in the community which is really nice to see as well.”
