Safety Certification Expiry
March 23, 2020The following safety certifications have been extended due to the COVID-19 closures:
St John Ambulance – First Aid/CPR/AED; First Aid/CPR/AED Refresher
St John Ambulance certificates that expire between March 19, 2020 and September 23, 2020 will be eligible to take the One Day Recertification course in addition to extending their certification over this period.
Energy Safety Canada – H2S Alive, First Line BOP, Well Service BOP, Coiled Tubing BOP
Any Certificate of Completion previously issued by Energy Safety Canada that has an expiry date between January 1, 2020 and September 1, 2020 will be deemed by Energy Safety Canada to have not expired and will remain valid up to and including September 1, 2020.
Southeast College – Confined Space, Ground Disturbance, Fall Prevention
Southeast College Safety Certifications that expire during the COVID affected closures will be granted a 90 day grace renewal period. The grace period will commence when the College resumes regular business operations.
