Southeast College Launches Professional Microcredentials
October 19, 2022Professional Microcredentials for Business provides the opportunity for learners across Saskatchewan to improve their management and leadership acumen through practical, skill-oriented business courses.
The training is provided through Live Online classes facilitated by leading edge instructors designed to build the learner’s core business, leadership, and management skills. Professional Microcredential students learn key skills in demand from the labour market, with short, focused programs designed with industry needs at the forefront.
There are four core Professional Microcredentials offered: Communication for Business, Introduction to Office Management, Advanced Office Management and Municipal Management. Learners earn a digital badge for each of the four classes within the Professional Microcredential. Badges can be added to resumes, professional portfolio’s, Linked In profiles and more.
”Southeast College developed this Professional Microcredential program in alignment with the provincial framework for Microcredentials,” states Dr. Vicky Roy, President and CEO, “The classes and badges are consistent with other training institutions and recognized by both industry and education.”
Funding is available for qualified businesses through both the Canada Saskatchewan Job Grant and the Re-Skill Saskatchewan Training Subsidy.
