Southeast College Seeks New Board Members

September 5, 2018

Now is your opportunity to help guide Southeast College as they strive to make a difference in the lives of their students. Southeast College is currently recruiting two Board of Governor positions. Interested candidates should reside in and around the Estevan geographical area.

A seven-person board governs Southeast College.  Due to retirement, two positions are coming vacant. The Board is seeking expressions of interest from individuals willing to serve as board members for a three-year term.

“In order to provide balance and knowledge equity amongst our current Board members, we are seeking interest from candidates that may have any combination of the following: energy sector experience/knowledge, risk management, accounting, business management, knowledge of current and emerging issues affecting the College, energy, trades or small business,” states Janice Giroux, Southeast College Board of Governors Chair. “Our Board also recognizes and appreciates diversity and the experience that comes with it. We welcome equal gender representation, representation from persons of Aboriginal decent, representation from visible minorities, representation from women in non-traditional roles and representation from citizens with disabilities.”

Interested candidates are encouraged to contact Christin Andrews at 306-848-2370 for more information or email candrews@southeastcollege.org

Southeast College is proud to offer innovative and flexible programming that encourages students to learn where they live.
