Our Vision

Computer Science Training Through Projects – Summer 2025
Our Computer Science Training Through Projects (CSTTP) program is returning this summer and expanding to four communities in Southeastern and Eastern Saskatchewan, including Estevan, Yorkton, and two Indigenous communities.
CSTTP uses project-based learning to teach computer science and digital skills through real-world projects from local businesses and organizations. This hands-on approach helps students apply what they learn in class to practical tasks, making their education more relevant and career focused.
New for this summer, the program includes a comprehensive Skills for Success component. This training focuses on building key employability and workplace competencies such as communication, collaboration, adaptability, and problem solving. These skills complement the technical learning and help prepare participants for success in a range of technology-related careers.
Students also benefit from access to LinkedIn Learning licenses and customized learning pathways. These resources offer flexible, self-paced opportunities to deepen digital skills and support project-based learning.
The course is fully funded through the Government of Canada’s Future Skills Program. All participants will be provided with the necessary equipment for the duration of the program, including a laptop, second monitor, mouse, and carrying case. Internet access and childcare support can be arranged for participants who require them during the program.
