As part of National Indigenous History Month, Southeast College’s Jill Ruep, a Métis beading artist and our own Student Advisor, brought storytelling and hands-on learning to nearly 100 students at Estevan Comprehensive School on Thursday, June 11.
Joined by staff from the Centre for Sustainable Innovation, Jill shared her journey as an artist and entrepreneur, highlighting her business, Ma Fii Lii Rasaad, and its partnership with the College’s applied research centre to develop an innovative beading app.
